Welsh Government has announced a new funding competition for healthcare firms to find digital solutions to help combat Covid-19. The competition is being supported by Digital Health Ecosystem Wales, Life Sciences Hub and Welsh Government.
How to enter
The competition is open to any UK business who has a digital solution to fight Covid-19. The solution must be developed and ready for testing during the application process. Funding is available for between five and eight projects to rapidly pilot products and solutions, which meet certain criteria.
The competition will be judged by an expert panel comprising Welsh Government, NHS Wales and industry representatives. The fund will support the rapid piloting and evaluation of new digital platforms, apps and technologies to determine their long-term use and potential in the healthcare service. The plan is for pilots to run throughout July and August with a potential for the new technology to be rolled out from early September.
