The National Minimum Wage Regulations 2017

The National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Regulations 2017 have been published and are intended to come into force on 1 April 2017.
They will raise the national living wage to £7.50 per hour (previously £7.20) for those aged 25 or over. The new national minimum wage rates will be £7.05 per hour for those aged 21 to 24 (previously £6.95), £5.60 per hour for those aged 18 to 20 (previously £5.55) and £4.05 per hour for those under 18 (previously £4.00).
Employers should ensure that they put in place arrangements to comply with the changes prior to 1st April 2017.
