Loosemores Solicitors will be taking part in this Sunday’s 2.6 Challenge, to raise vital funds for our chosen charities.
What is The 2.6 Challenge?
The COVID-19 outbreak has had a devastating impact on UK charities with the cancellation of thousands of fundraising events. The National Council for Voluntary Organisations’ (NCVO), estimates that the UK charity sector will lose £4 billion in income as a result of the ongoing pandemic.
On Sunday 26 April, the day when the London Marathon would have taken place, people across the UK are coming together to show their support for the sector. The 2.6 Challenge can be any activity you like based around the numbers 2.6 – from running 2.6 miles or holding an online workout with 26 of your friends, the only requirement is that the activity must follow social distancing guidelines.
To keep track of our fundraising activities, please follow our social media channels.
