Welsh Government has announced a new workplace social distancing rule that will come into force from Tuesday 7th April 2020.
To help stop the spread of COVID-19, Welsh Government is introducing a law compelling all employers to make sure their workers keep two metres apart and this will apply to any workplace, including homes, outdoor spaces and where work and repairs are being undertaken.
All businesses will have to take all reasonable measures to ensure the two metre rule is maintained between people on their premises whenever work is being carried out. Further guidance is expected to be published by the Welsh Government and we will endeavour to keep everyone updated.
