Head of Property (10 years+ PQE – guide only). Exciting opportunity for a senior property lawyer to head up the department as a salaried Partner. Based in our Cardiff head office and reporting directly to our Senior Partner. The successful candidate will take over from our current Head of Property, who wants to concentrate on a purely fee-earning role with reduced working hours. You will be qualified to practice in England and Wales. You should be able to demonstrate strong experience as a fee-earning commercial property lawyer and some experience in residential conveyancing. You should also be able to demonstrate key relevant capabilities and interest in leading and managing a small but growing team, as well as adherence to compliance, risk and quality management systems (including CQS).
Residential Property Lawyer. Excellent opportunity for a residential conveyancing lawyer to join our growing property team. Based in our Cardiff head office and reporting to our Head of Property. The successful candidate is likely to be a qualified Solicitor or Fellow of CILEX and will be able to demonstrate strong experience as a fee-earning conveyancer, running their own files and adhering to CQS and lender requirements.
Legal Practice Compliance Manager (10 years+ PQE – guide only). Newly created non fee-earning role, based in our Cardiff head office, and reporting directly to the Senior Partner who is our COLP, COFA, MLRO and responsible for data protection. You will be qualified to practice in England and Wales. You should be able to demonstrate significant prior experience in legal practice compliance, risk and quality management and an excellent knowledge of applicable regulations and standards. You will not be directly managing a team, but you will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues including the Partners, Finance Director and Head of Support Services. You should be able to show key relevant skills and interest in improving use of our case management system (namely Tikit’s Partner for Windows) and other technology, our file auditing system, our policies and procedures, our precedents and templates, our breach and complaints handling, and our training and development programme. This could be a full-time role or flexible/reduced working hours may be possible. For an ambitious candidate, there is also scope for future promotion within the firm.
