Loosemores is delighted to have advised GlobalWelsh on its recently launched community engagement platform ‘GlobalWelsh Connect’.
GlobalWelsh is an independent not-for-profit focused on connecting and engaging the Welsh diaspora around the world. It has recently launched a global online community platform, GlobalWelsh Connect, to enable its growing community to engage, share and support each other, across 47 countries.
The platform will be supplied by Hivebrite, a leading Software as a Service (SaaS) solution for community management and engagement.
Loosemores advised GlobalWelsh on the proposed SaaS agreement with Hivebrite and associated data processing agreement (DPA), as well as updating GlobalWelsh’s user terms and conditions.
Walter May, founder and CEO of GlobalWelsh, commented:
“Launching a global community platform is a challenge on many fronts and getting the best legal advice is crucial to that. We were fortunate to have Loosemores advise GlobalWelsh on the launch of our Community engagement platform ‘GlobalWelsh Connect’. The thing about Loosemores is that they are not only great on the legals but they took the time to understand what we are about and our long term aims. It felt like they were part of our team.”
