Loosemores advises Concentric Health on angel investment

Loosemores has successfully advised Welsh health technology start-up, Concentric Health, on a £500,000 investment from a syndicate of 24 business angels.

Concentric Health is transforming how decisions are made about people’s health with a new digital consent to treatment application. Founded by clinicians Dafydd Loughran and Edward St John, and chief technology officer Martyn Loughran, Concentric was launched in 2020 at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

Corporate and Commercial Partner, Siôn Tudur, led the Loosemores team advising on the investment and was supported by solicitor Elle McCook.

Siôn Tudur, commented:

“We would like to congratulate Concentric Health on the completion of this landmark investment. It’s fantastic to see a Welsh business making a real impact on the way healthcare services are being delivered. The business is a great ambassador for Wales’ health tech scene.”

Dafydd Loughran , CEO Concentric Health, added:

“It’s been a pleasure working with Siôn Tudur and the team at Loosemores over the last couple of years, and I hugely appreciate Siôn’s experience in guiding us through our first investment round. To be able to do so through the medium of Welsh has been an added bonus. Diolch!”
