Loosemores Advises Digital Profile on £275,000 Investment Round

Digital Profile

Loosemores is delighted to have advised Digital Profile. The Welsh tech start-up successfully raised £275,000 from the Development Bank of Wales, private investor Giles Phelps and Cardiff Council.

Digital Profile is a new platform where digital professionals and companies meet. It enables individuals to create a “living” digital CV, while also allowing companies to advertise opportunities directly to schools and education providers.  Dan Lewis, founder of Digital Profile, wanted to create an engaging platform that allows people to change and modify their CV or profile easily.  Launched in June 2016, Digital Profile already has over 450 approved businesses and more than 3,000 individual users.

Siôn Tudur, Partner at Loosemores, was the lead advisor to Digital Profile on its fund-raising round.

Siôn commented:

“We look forward to continue working together and support the growth of Digital Profile. I have a long history of working with Dan Lewis, who has a strong track record with other businesses. I have no doubt that Digital Profile will continue to grow and go on to be very successful.”

Digital Profile founder, Dan Lewis had only good things to say about Siôn and Loosemores:

“Siôn’s knowledge and professionalism was brilliant throughout. His help made a situation that could have been seemingly daunting, simple and easy. His guidance really helped to speed up the process, which for us as a start-up, was very beneficial and I’m sure Siôn will continue to help us for a significant amount of time. We’d like to thank Siôn for all his hard work and helping to build Digital Profile’s future.”
