New emergency support available for the creative sector in Wales


Welsh Government initiative, Creative Wales has opened applications for an Emergency TV Development Fund and Emergency Digital Development Fund, to support the creative industries amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Support for Welsh independent TV production

The Emergency TV Development Fund (ETVDF) will provide immediate financial support for independent production companies during the COVID-19 crisis. Up to £25,000 is available for companies to use while production cannot take place to develop projects for television.

Emergency Digital Development Fund

The Emergency Digital Development Fund (EDDF) will provide immediate financial support for games, animation, digital agencies and creative digital businesses. This aims to support the retention of Intellectual Property and improve or introduce new platforms for the digitisation or distribution of digital content.
