Court Of Protection
If you have a relative who can no longer manage his or her
financial affairs, (for example, as a result of mental incapacity), you
may need to apply to the court for a suitable person to be appointed for
this purpose.
An application can be made to the Court of Protection for the appointment of
a Deputy (previously called a Receiver) who may be authorised to:
