Loosemores sponsor the CarTen100 ride for Ty Hafan

180 bike riders departed from Cathedral Road in Cardiff at about 8am, on the morning of Saturday 8 May 2010. The skies were somewhat overcast and rain certainly threatened. However, the riders were assisted by a most favourable easterly wind along the 100 miles of the ride from Cardiff to Tenby.
The other sponsors of the event were Confused.com, SofaSofa, Biotec and MCI Logistics to name a few. Riding with the pack and in training for his 8 day cycling challenge later this year, was ex-Welsh Rugby International and Newport Gwent Dragons coach, Colin Charvis. www.cyclechallengewales.co.uk
The current CarTen100 tally for fundraising for Ty Hafan has exceeded £10,000, with more money coming in from the individual sponsorship raised by the cyclists.
